Tashina Lee Emery is artist and jewelry designer from the Ojibwa Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. Tashina uses different materials to create hand crafted jewellery with a contemporary aesthetic influenced by her roots, the natural world, and the post-colonization. She creates work to celebrate and promote change, to bring awareness and to empower others. Each piece holds a raw and lasting presence of history and spirit, drawing inspiration from the Great Lakes and the Michigan Upper Peninsula woods.
