Ociciwan Contemporary Art Collectives programming and operations is generously funded by the Canada Council for the Arts, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Edmonton Arts Council and the City of Edmonton.

Special thanks to the FIRE Grant program (Funding Indigenous Resurgence in Edmonton) through the Edmonton Heritage Council for funding our kamâmak nihtâwikihcikan Workshops. A special thanks to TD Friends of the Environment for sponsoring our 2023 planting season and Elder Talk series.

Ociciwan Contemporary Art Centre acknowledges Treaty Six Territory and the Métis Nation of Alberta - the ancestral and traditional territory of the Cree, Métis, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, and Nakota Sioux. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for generations and continue today. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today, those who have gone before us and we acknowledge those yet to come.
